We took Audrey to her very first Cardinal baseball game tonight! She did great! Our friends Jen and Ari were in town so they had the great idea to go to the game. We met them by the Stan Musial statue before the game and used tickets that Tim got from work. Our seats were very good and it was a beautiful night!
Audrey sat nicely in my lap for most of the game. She wasn't too sure about all the noise, but she got used to it very quickly. She ate a jar of fruit without making a mess and charmed everyone around us. No one could believe how good she was! She fell asleep briefly, but then stayed awake for the remainder of the game--until 10 p.m.! Wow!
We had a great time with Jen and Ari. They are going to be living a bit closer soon since Jen recently matched at the hospital in Cincinnati where she'll be doing her fellowship. Yay! How exciting!
After the game, we walked back to our car, where Audrey fell sleep before we even left the parking lot and then slept through the night. What a superstar!
